Every now and then my outgoing email stops working

For some reason, from time to time, my outgoing email stops serving.

I use variety of email clients, MacOS, Windows 10, iOS and they all are configured the way as it is displayed in cPanel – under Email Client configuration.

In particular, I use TLS encryption with password authentication, over port 465.

Is there any way to permanently resolve it?


For outgoing SMTP email with authentication required, it is recommended that port 587 is used instead of the 465. Even port 25 is still a better option.
According to many sources, the port 465 should not be used any longer for SMTL TLS connections that require authentication.
